You Might Have to Wait Until You Are 100 Years Old to Smoke a Cigarette in Hawaii

Hawaii might become the first state to outlaw the sales of cigarettes. A Hawaii lawmaker wants to gradually raise the minimum age limit to 100 years old. “The state is obliged to protect the public’s health,” State House member Rep. Richard Creagan said to the Hawaii Tribune-Herald. The proposed measure is supposed to increase the age limit to 30 in 2020, 40 in 2021, 50 in 2022, 60 in 2023 and 100 in 2024. The current age limit is 21. To read more about this story click here.
