During an interview with GQ titled, “Young Thug: What Drugs Sound Like,” Thugga explained that he has no interest in rapping into his elder years. The Cash Money member cited Jay Z in his argument and claimed that rappers in their 30′s and 40′s don’t connect to the youth through their music:
