Artist Review: Veedo Rich

On the other hand, after hearing the beat and the hook that’s on ‘Puttin On,’ it made me curious to find out if Veedo had some bars, or if his plan was just to kill his audience with his swag and hooks . Well curiosity kills the cat they say, and the big secret is Veedo Rich got flow. I mean I had a serious head nod when I listened to the songs ‘Yall ain’t fuckin with Veedo’ and ‘Uptown.’ Both songs had a nice hook and showed Veedo’s ability to select beats that compliment his flow and voice.

In regards to the content of Veedo’s songs, they remain basically the same on each track. He is “poppin bottles in the street” and driving Maserati’s, pretty much the same type of braggadocious flow that represents about 80 percent of rappers making music today. Hopefully when the time comes for Veedo to drop a official album, he will divulge in other topics other than getting money on the streets. I think that will help expand his audience and catalog. But as the saying goes, it’s not what you say, but how you say it; and if that’s the case you have to give up to Veedo Rich, because he definitely gives a new spin to the flaunting and presenting that flamboyant style that comes out of Harlem New York.
