The Black Harvest Film Festival Offers a chance for independent filmmakers to shine on the big screen. Now in its 19th year, each year, a couple of weeks out the year, the Gene Siskel theater in Chicago opens its doors and allows the masses to view films from directors that they probably wouldn’t be able to see. So if you are in Chicago this month, stop by the Gene Siskel theatre, the festival runs through the 15th and is reasonably priced. Here is the link t the festival’s complete schedule.
