Dwight Howard: With no post game and seemingly no desire to dominate his opponents, this man still collects 13 to 14 rebounds and blocks 2 to 3 shots a game. They have him listed as a Power Forward, but the experiment of him playing with Omer Asik is failing miserably, and I expect a trade involving Asik, which will ultimately move Howard back to his natural position of Center. Yeah I agree with Shaq, he is suppose to get you 25 and 18, but this ain’t the 90’s and unfortunately Howard at his worst is better than every other center’s best. Even though throughout the early season, there has been no indication of Howard gaining more focused; I still stand by my pre season pick of him winning the MVP and the Rockets going to the finals.
Marc Gasol: The reigning Defensive Player of the year recently suffered an injury that will set him back a couple months, but I have confidence that he will be ready come playoff time. Not only is the younger of the Gasol brothers tough as nails, he is also extremely intelligent, he makes the right passes to cutters going to the hole and to the spot up shooters when he is double team. He is one of my favorite players to watch and has been a mainstay on the top ten lists.
