Brock Lesnar Better Off in WWE and Not Back in UFC

According to Lance Pugmire of the L.A. Times, Lesnar and Dana White are talking about a possible return to MMA for Lesnar. A former UFC heavyweight champion, Lesnar finished his brief MMA career with a record of 5-3; his losses came to Frank Mir (a loss Lesnar avenged), Cain Velasquez, and Alistair Overeem. By the way, a T/E ratio had nothing to do with the whipping Overeem gave to Lesnar; the gassed Overeem that lost to Bigfoot in 2013 could’ve administered the same whipping.

Pugmire’s evidence of White/Lesnar negotiations comes from a tweet he posted two days ago:

@danawhite told me last week he was “talking” to @DABROCKLESNAR but wouldn’t announce anything until a signing.

Lesnar has been back in pro wrestling since early 2012 and has made a good impact since his return. He only appears on TV and wrestles periodically, but those moments do get the most attention, and in most cases have been worth that attention. His match with John Cena was heavily praised and his match with C.M. Punk was the best match WWE had in 2013 by a long shot.

Vince McMahon has Lesnar signed to WWE until Wrestlemania XXXI, which is in 2015. The deal appears to be an even sweeter deal than the one-year deal Lesnar had to come back in 2012, and that deal was pretty sweet by itself.
