Mammon means money, and if you didn’t know Jesus was upset when he went into the synagogue and found them selling and buying.
“And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought. Saying unto them, it is written, my house is the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves” (Luke 19:45-46)
Now if Jesus himself was offended by the money grabbers; why are today’s preachers selling books, catfish dinners, Girl Scout cookies, and CDs in the church?

“Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? behold, even I have seen it ,saith the Lord” (Jeremiah 7:11)
I guess the prosperity preachers are in the business of fattening their pockets at the expense of poor Christians. I don’t understand how so many Christians are conned by these wolves in sheep clothing.
“For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision. Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake” (Titus 1:10-11)
