Chicago’s Newsense

Black Truth News: You mention a radio station to me; tell the people what you got going on with your new radio station and anything else you got going on?
Newsense:  On November 29th; I’m starting my own online radio station called “Peace Hard Core Radio,” you could find that on TV 100, Radio Online-365, you can download TP100 radio. Peace Hard Core is my Global brand, I just started it like I’m a hard core individual, but I don’t do street shit no more, I don’t gang bang no more, but I’m still hard core to the bone. Just a celebration of people that’s hard core, but don’t fuck with the violence and don’t fuck with the streets.

Black Truth News: Before I go, explain to me how it feels to have one of the hardest two lines in Chicago rap history; “Newsense> Shit I wear a towel coat.” That line represented the city for so long.
Newsense:  It is so weird for me, because till this day I don’t think I get it, I was just going with the music, we were having fun. If it wasn’t for my supporter’s listeners and fans or whatever constantly saying you’re the queen, you had that shit tight. I just feel like I was another rapper that came and contributed something, but it’s the people that made me realize that I was more than what I believed it was, because it’s still a shock to me.
Not long ago I was listening to the remix to “magic” that we did with Al Hudson and Al Hudson goes like this and sings Magic.  I listened to it three years later and I’m like I’m on a song with Al Hudson and it just dawned on me like three years after I did it! When I do work I be so caught up in the moment, I don’t really soak it in like I should, maybe I should start feeling that a little bit more (laughs)
