Dean Wareham’s Emancipated Hearts Out Today! October 15

Pitchfork said of Emancipated Hearts, “Even at six tracks, it’s stunning how much life (and death) Wareham spreads over these tracks, and makes these tiny whispers of songs feel like the biggest secret anyone’s ever told you.” Wareham previously releasedthe single “Love Is Colder Than Death” off the EP and Spin called it a “dreamy, country-influenced tune” and Rolling Stone said, “Wry romantic travails have always ranked high on the former Luna frontman’s musical priorities… His gift for dusky guitars also remains thankfully intact.”

Emancipated Hearts was produced by Jason Quever who is known for his own band Papercuts as well as production work for the likes of Cass McCombs and Beach House.

In support of Emancipated Hearts Dean has a handful of shows confirmed:

11/12 – San Francisco, CA – The Chapel

11/14 – Los Angles, CA –  Largo

11/29 – New  York, NY – The Bell House
