According to reports, Jones committed a home invasion when he broke into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment. Upon entering the apartment, he found Trouble, whose real name was Mariel Semonte Orr.
The woman whose name hasn’t been revealed told authorities that Jones started punching her in the face which woke up Trouble. The rapper got into a tussle with Jones and ended up shooting him. Trouble was later taken to the hospital where he ended up passing away.
The woman told deputies that she and Jones had been dating for three years, but broke up a week earlier when he hit her during an argument about “him not having a job and not helping her pay the bills.”
She went on to explain that she called 911 but did not file a police report because Jones fled the scene. She said that he had not been back to the home where they’d been living together in the week since.
After hearing this story from her, I would have asked her: Are you finished or are you done?”
Because even though the details of the story may be true, it’s just the tip of the iceberg on why that man lost his life and the other man is sitting in the jail cell.
Let me tell you what I think happened. First of all, that probably wasn’t the first time her ex-boyfriend has put his hands on her. She said was with him for three years and a pattern of abuse usually rears its ugly head early in the game.
That’s why she didn’t file a police report because unfortunately, victims of domestic abuse endure a lot of pain before they say enough is enough. This was just another one of those incidents where an argument over money turned violent. She told his broke ass to leave and instead of walking away, he hit her. This is what you call a bum ass nigga.
