Earthquake New York 2013: Tremors felt in Glens Falls, Queensbury

Tremors were felt by the people of Corinth, Fort Edward, Gansevoort, Glens Falls, Hudson Falls, Lake George, Lake Luzerne, Queensbury and South Glens Falls.

USGS had upgraded the earthquake near Glens Falls NY from magnitude 2.3 to a 2.7.

According to the Albany National Weather Service, there are no reports of damage from New York earthquake 2013.

Looking the earthquake activity in the New York City area, the largest known earthquake occurred in 1884 of magnitude approximately 5.
