The internet is a funny place. Through social media, videos, and chatting, any topic has the possibility of becoming a global sensation. On the flip side, just as fast as something can become popular, it can disappear out of the public consciousness in a matter of minutes. I thought about this when reading about the eighth anniversary of the Nigerian school girls who were abducted by the alleged terrorist group Boko Haram.
