Iran President Says U.S Helped it’s “Small Puppet Countries” To Attack and Killed 29 People in Their Country

On Saturday, 29 people were killed and 57 wounded in the southwestern city of Ahvaz in Iran. Two terrorist groups, Islamic State and an Iranian ethnic Arab opposition movement have claimed responsibility for the attacks but have not provided any evidence. Iran’s  president Hassan Rouhani has claimed the United States had a hand in the act by providing financial and military support for anti-government ethnic Arab groups. “The small puppet countries in the region are backed by America, and the United States is provoking them and giving them the necessary capabilities,” Rouhani said.

The United States government responded on Sunday, and said it is condemning the killings and rejects any allegation the US would be involved. “The United States condemns any terrorist attack anywhere, period.
