Hip Hop artist J. Cole did a very cool thing for one of his fans recently. The Dreamville CEO kept his word by attending the graduation of Cierra Bosarge. Years ago, Cierra wrote Cole a letter explaining that she’d endured a lot in her life, including having two drug-addicted parents that were behind bars. J. Cole was so moved by the letter that he promised that he would attend her high school graduation, but only if she got into a four-year university.
Well Cierra did one better, she not only attend Rowan University, a four-year university, but she graduated. And you know what, J. Cole attended her college graduation as well.
With so much negative press surrounding the Hip Hop Community, this was refreshing to hear. Kudos to J. Cole and congratulations to Cierra Bosarge.
