Jadarius, 22, was stabbed in the face during a fight Sunday morning in Georgia.
Police found a 37-year-old man shot upon their arrival. He later died at the hospital.
Jadarius’ attorney, Drew Findling, told TMZ, “We are grateful to law enforcement for releasing Jadarius after their preliminary investigation. He continues to receive medical treatment for the injury he endured during the incident.”
Another source close to Jadarius told TMZ the rapper’s son was acting in self-defense.
Police believe the shooting victim was involved in two burglaries that occurred around the same time as the shooting.
