Lil Boosie Expects To Be Released From Prison In February

Lil Boosie has a lot of thought-provoking new music to present to fans upon his release from prison, according to the rapper’s cousin and Trill Ent. Member Donkey.

Donkey, who revealed Boosie has “over 50 double albums” worth of songs, says one song that caught his attention was an ode to the late Hip Hop legend Tupac Shakur.

“That man said he got over 50 cds wrote, double albums. Over 50 double albums,” he told Say Cheese TV. “My favorite one is a “Letter To Tupac.”

“…To where he like saluting Pac for passing the torch to him that’s it’s his world now. He ready,” he adds.

Donkey went on to describe Boosie’s growth in prison.

“He done became so business-minded in all this,” Donkey explained. “This has really like opened his eyes to everything. It had made him serious about his craft, about life…I guess value his situation more than what he did.”

Donkey further explained prison was a wake-up call for the “Ghetto Stories” rapper.

“…It took this for him to understand the position that he was in instead of getting a little slap on the wrist cause he had so much,” Donkey continued. “He felt like God prepared him. Cause he ten times bigger now. Like Job, took it away from him, took it away from him and gave him, now he gon have ten times… he way bigger than what he was. But he ready now. Mind-wise, the world in trouble, game over.”
The “Still Happy” rapper was sentenced to serve four years in prison after violating the terms of his parole in 2009, according to WAFB.
