According to ABC News Nightline at least one person has been confirmed dead in a shooting that took place at Clackamas Town Center, a mall in suburban Portland, Ore.According to the website reports a masked gunman walked into the mall and open fire on a host of unassuming people, several were injured, with one fatality. The exact number of deaths and those wounded have not been determined according to reports from ABC News and police officers on the scene. Police officers said the premise and the suspect has been “neutralized”. This has contributed to a disturbing trend of american society being shaken by domestic terrorism. Typically the suburbs of America have served as a safe haven for one to raise their family, not anymore, it seems that a proportionate number of police and tatical safeguard startegies would apply to those areas as it does to the urban communties. Lets Hope that the families of this ordeal overcome this horrific tradegy.
