Despite the star-studded moment, there was one person who was still able to steal the spotlight. That person would be the one and only Kanye West aka Ye. He came on the stage and did the honor of presenting the award to Diddy. He actually gave a great speech, but what made headlines was his attire.
He was dressed like the Unabomber with a hoodie jacket, a hat, a ski mask, and sunglasses.
I didn’t watch the show but the next day most of the chatter online was more about Kanye than Diddy and the rest of the performers.
Kanye West is the definition of a superstar. I marvel at his ability to continue to make headlines regardless of the situation. Way back in 2005 when Ye understood how to grab headlines at an award show when he told the media at the Grammy’s stated “If I don’t win Album of the Year, I’m really gonna have a problem with that.”
I’m not going to list all of his antics, but we know about Taylor Swift and his repeat performance at the 2015 Grammys.
Instead, I just wanted to give a toast to his skills, his spotlight, and his genius. Salute
