Pimp Chronicles: Is Social Media Turning Women into Hoes and Hoes into Goddess?

When I say reiterating the rules of the game I mean there are certain things that apply to certain people. The women who want to be treated like a woman should conduct themselves in that manner. The men who want a real woman should know the distinction between having one and not having one.

Legendary hustler and basketball player Pee Wee Kirkland talked about this same observation in this clip below.

I saw a couple of women say the phrase that they are part of Claire Huxtable and part Cardi B.

The thing is, sometimes they only show one side of the coin. In writing this, I was trying to somewhat rationalize that behavior. My belief is that they can only show what they see. Do you think it is an accident that the Cosby show re-runs are not being shown? Do you think it is an accident that the last two top female rappers have been based around the promotion of sex? I don’t want to get too deep, but I will say there is a lack of promotion towards positive Black images.

In turn, we have ignorance towards what is positive and what is not. Hopefully, at the very least this will create a discussion on what imagery exists and what should be created or promoted. What do you think? Do you think social media is turning women into hoes and hoes into a goddess? Leave your comments below.
