Relationships Tips that Will Survive the Heat

Tip #3(Show Appreciation) Very underrated element of a successful relationship is gratitude. Imagine going out your way to make someone happy; and then not being acknowledge for your efforts. Flip the script and verbalize your sentiments with a ‘there goes my baby’ or a simple ‘I love you’. Do something thoughtful like buy a card. Surprise your mate by doing something out the ordinary. It’s good shock value and ignites or maintains the spontaneity they may seek elsewhere.
Tip #4 (Prioritize your time) It really doesn’t matter what season it is; not enough quality time with your mate always seem to be an issue in relationships. Most likely the summer is the time you get that week long visit from a relative or friend. Try to schedule some extra group events that will get all your friends involved. Stay consistent with your one on one time but remember to provide some extra space.

Nostalgia may surface a bit when it’s warm and you cruising with your favorite tunes blasting. Sometimes people may feel or want to feel the way they felt before they met you. Don’t take it personal though. If you go back to tip number one and apply these techniques to your relationship you will be fine; and if by chance that doesn’t work, remain patient. Because according to my ever reliable Facebook friends; the fall and winter months are the two seasons where people are most likely to be “boo’d and coupled up”. So see, you have nothing to worry about.
