The Struggle From Within
Negative thoughts enter your head; you fight and fight to keep them away
but they enter anyway. It must be Satan; he wrote the encyclopedia of sin.
So don’t follow him, that path only leads to a dead end.
Enticed by the pleasures of this world; the money, the cars, the lust
for more worldly things. Greed takes over; you lose your religion.
You’ve forgotten God’s laws and his statues, what a pity.
Satan is on the prowl for every woman and man. So don’t think you’re safe
just because you’re under God’s grace. Wake up; don’t give up; just pray,
it’s a battle every day.
I’m saved… yes I’m saved, people claim today. But what about tomorrow
and the next day and the next, I say. This is Satan’s playground,
this world of lust and sin. Our flesh is weak; we can fall short
of his glory any day of the week.
That’s why I pray, Lord keep Satan away. Lead me and guide me this day.
For tomorrow… well… that’s a struggle for another day.
“And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou?
Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, from going to and
fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.” – (Job 1: 7)
Hold on my sister tomarrow will be brighter day,
