Around 120 guests, including David Bowie, Oprah Winfrey and Sade, are due to attend as Turner and Bach celebrate their marriage at their Kusnacht home.
According to Swiss weekly Schweiz am Sonntag, Turner has requested that all the guests wear white to the celebration, while she will be wearing a gown designed by Italian fashion giant Giorgio Armani.
Clearly anticipating an enjoyable evening, it was also reported that Turner and Bach had already sent out letters to neighbours and local residents apologising in advance for any noise they might cause.
Turner’s union with Bach marks her second wedding – her first being a volatile 14-year marriage to the late Ike Turner, with whom she found fame in the 1960’s.
Following their divorce in 1978 Tina recounted the domestic abuse she suffered at the hands of her first husband in bestselling 1986 memoir I, Tina – the inspiration for big-screen biopic What’s Love Got to Do with it starring Angela Bassett as Turner and Laurence Fishburne as Ike.
