Top Five NBA Players of All Time

FRONTCOURT

My frontcourt is the only place I will consider having a debate about the players chosen. I can see someone choosing Bill Russell or maybe Shaq at center but my forwards are locked until further notice.

Center: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar:   Rookie of the Year, member of six NBA championship teams, six-time NBA MVP, two-time NBA Finals MVP, 19-time All-Star, two-time scoring champion, and a member of the NBA 35th and 50th Anniversary All-Time Teams. He also owned eight playoff records and seven All-Star records. No player achieved as much individual and team success as did Abdul-Jabbar.

Small Forward: Larry Bird NBA Rookie of the Year (1980); In addition to his three championship rings, Bird piled up an awesome collection of personal achievements. He became only the third player (and the first non-center) to win three consecutive NBA Most Valuable Player Awards. He was a 12-time All-Star, a two-time NBA Finals MVP and a nine-time member of the All-NBA First Team. He led the league in free-throw percentage four times.

Power Forward: Tim Duncan The only player in NBA history to earn both All-NBA and All- Defensive honors in each of his first 12 seasons. … just the second player in history to earn Finals MVP honors in each of their first three trips to the Finals (joining Michael Jordan) the 1998 Rookie of the Year & four time NBA champion
