Black Truth News: You still look like you are in good shape. Have you ever thought about participating in the Big 3?
Scottie Pippen: Nah, not as a player.
BTN: Maybe as a coach?
SP: Well, it would be kind of difficult because I have a busy summer.
BTN: Do you think that starting the Big3 was a good idea for the ex-players?
SP: I think it is great and it has a lot of excitement generated behind it. Plus I’m sure the players are also excited to have a platform, venue, and arena to continue to showcase their competitive fire. So yeah, I think it is great for them.
BTN: Speaking of competition, what are your thoughts on what is going on in the NBA right now? More specifically, how do you feel about the Golden State Warriors and their dominance over the league? Do you think forming a “super team” is good for the game?
SP: I don’t see anything wrong with what the Golden State Warriors are doing. I mean they are not that super; they did lose some games.
BTN: For the record, I think the last Chicago Bulls team that 3-peat; not the first 3-peat team could have beaten this current Golden State Warriors team. Because along with you and Jordan; you also had Ron Harper on the perimeter… Scottie cuts me off…
SP: Any of our peat teams could have beaten Golden State!
