Sarunas Jackson who plays the lead character Marcus King had this to say about filming when speaking with 2-Fox 46 Charlotte: “Just being discipline…getting up on your day off and getting tested at 7 in the morning was a little annoying, but other than that it was cool.”
Speaking with Blacktruth.net, Tracey Edmonds talked about how transitioning from producing movie soundtracks to film and TV helped with adjusting to filming during the pandemic. Some of the cast members also talked about how they developed their characters throughout the series. Jackie Long spoke with me on how he tapped into his more emotional side to get into the role of Kareem Johnson for the second season.
