A hundred years cannot be replace with ‘maybe next year.’ A game 7 lost cannot be replaced with a pat on the back. The Cubs have to win this game! There are no two ways about it. I know Cleveland has the second longest drought of winning a World Series; but a 100 years should count for something. If the Chicago Cubs get this far and lose; it will be devastating. It would be a disaster. I know the faithful Cubs fans are going to party no matter what happens, but screw that; we need the win. I don’t know what Joe Maddon, the Cubs manager is telling his players, but it needs to be akin to life and death. Yes I am proud the Cubs are here in this moment. But this opportunity hasn’t come knocking in a long time and we have to take advantage of it. Go Cubs Go!
