Chief Keef show canceled amid concerns about violence

The show’s cancellation was confirmed by police superintendent Bernard Harrison, who explained that the police fear that Keef could draw violence at the venue.

“We have indications from intelligence sources that there were going to be problems and there have been many problems at his concerts in other places,” Harrison told the Chicago Tribune. “I spoke to the director of the theater myself and asked if he could cancel the concert. He complied with my request.”

This past Tuesday, Keef (born Keith Cozart) was removed from his rented mansion for unspecified reasons. It was initially reported that the eviction was due to the rapper’s failure to pay rent; but those rumors have been denied.
