Last week, in celebration of International Women’s Day, Jack Daniel’s Gentlemen Jack held it’s SPIRITUOUS event in Chicago. The purpose was to honor women who have impacted their communities through art, conversation and drinks. Those three ingredients combined with a beautiful sunny day made this a great atmosphere.
Guests were able to hear the stories of artists such as Hailey Losselyong who painted barrels for the selected bartenders. I asked attendees FeLaun Ranice 29, and LB 32, the importance of having events to highlight the contribution of women to society. “I think it is phenomenal,” Ranice said. “There is definitely a lack of appreciation of women in certain fields,” LB said. They both agreed “there should be more days like this to celebrate women.”
