Hefner is leaving behind his four children, as well as his wife Crystal Harris. While his remaining estimated $43 million estate will be divided up amongst his children and charity, his wife will receive nothing according to reports. Harris and Hefner married in 2012 at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles, and reportedly signed an “ironclad” prenuptial agreement. According to reports, the agreement made sure that Harris would be taken care of, but that she would not be inheriting any of his fortunes, as she was left out of his will.
According to Daily Mail, the marriage between Harris and Hefner almost didn’t happen, as the now 31-year-old woman got cold feet five days before they were set to marry in 2011. Hefner went on to tweet that the 60 year age difference between them did not matter. Harris felt otherwise at the time, after saying that she “was just over it” in reference to them having sex together. The two would end up getting married on New Year’s Eve 2012.
