The most iconic character in the movie “Crazy, Sexy, Cool,” was Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. The film was able to profit tremendously from the buildup and let down related to her death, as this scene had far more weight than concurrent stories, such as the romance between Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and producer Dallas Austin. The story about Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and her struggle with sickle cell anemia was touching, but still couldn’t compare with the impact of Left Eye’s creative and outrageous antics, and the finale of her untimely death.
