Sent at 9:16 a.m. Thursday morning, McDonald’s tweeted: “@realDonaldTrump You are actually a disgusting excuse of a President and we would love to have @BarackObama back, also you have tiny hands.”.
The tweet, which was seen by McDonald’s 151,000 followers, was retweeted more than 200 times, before ultimately being deleted.
It could not be immediately ascertained if the account was hacked or if it was sent by a rogue employee.
Emails to McDonald’s were not immediately returned.

Following the tweet, the phrase Big Mac was trending on the social network, in reference to the exchange.
