When questioned about the recent performance of the daytime talkshow on The T.D. Jakes Show, the former co-host and singer
“Ooh Lord ain’t that terrible. Lord Jesus. Help’em Lord. Save it. Resuscitate,” said Braxton jokingly (read: sarcastically).
Since Braxton’s departure, ratings of The Real have gone down 22 percent according to TheWrap.
Broadcasting & Cable called the drop in the ratings one of “the largest declines of any talkers that haven’t already been canceled.”
Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, Tamera Mowry-Housley and Jeannie Mai remain as co-hosts, however Braxton’s seat has yet to be filled.
Tamar was dimissed from the show in May 2016.
