Teen appears in court, accused of living lavish lifestyle with stolen credit card numbers

Neighbors say he was flashy… but odd. “I’m not surprised he did this. He was just off from the beginning. Weird. Just out there,” Travis Atkins told KTVU.

Atkins was visiting his girlfriend who lives next door to Halaweh in Rohnert Park. He said he saw the McLaren parked in front of his girlfriend’s house but didn’t know it was being used by Halaweh.

Investigators say Halaweh didn’t seem fazed by his legal troubles when they first had contact with him last December after the party in Sonoma.

This time, however, Sgt. Raasch told KTVU Halaweh appears to realize the gravity of the charges he’s facing, which could send him to prison for years.

“The walls are closing in on him right now,” said Raasch.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and there’s a strong chance even more charges will be filed.

Halaweh is scheduled to be back in Sonoma County Superior Court Friday morning for a bail reduction hearing.
