The NFL team formally known as the Washington Redskins has come up with a temporary solution to finding a new name for their team. The franchise will call itself the Washington Football Team and use the name for the 2020 season. They will continue to use the burgundy and gold color scheme.
The old logo on the helmet will be replaced by the player’s number in gold. The Washington Football Team will showcase their home uniforms against the Philadelphia Eagles on week one of the season. To read more about this story click here.
