It’s the job of NBA/sports commentators to create interest and start conversations for NBA fans. So I understand the chatter about the debate who is the MVP for this NBA season. But the truth of the matter is that there shouldn’t be any debate about who the MVP is. The season that Russell Westbrook is having should not leave any doubt that is he deserving of the award. James Harden is having a great season but it’s not as great as Westbrook. He has broke the single season record for triple-doubles. He has the most triple-doubles while scoring 50 points. He has his team in the playoffs and is doing it without the assistance of Kevin Durant. If he doesn’t outright win the award it would be some total B.S.
