TIG/Trust In Giving Founder Girvan “Fly” Henry Hosts Inaugural TIG Kids Shark Tank Giving Children Across The Country The Opportunity To Soar In Business

Held at the Andrew and Walter Young YMCA, the children pitched to seven (7) business leaders aka sharks in Atlanta, that wholehearted supported every pitch received.  The panel of sharks was comprised of TIG/Trust In Giving Founder Girvan “Fly” Henry, ultra-influencer and Founder/CEO Snob Life, Inc. Ming Lee, HBCU SXSW Founder and Partner TechSquare Labs Rodney Sampson,  Partner Collab Venture Fund Barry Givens, Founder/CEO Goodr Jasmine Crowe, real estate developer Cliff Palmer, and The Gathering Spot co-Founder TK Peterson.

“Trust In Giving’s main goal with the TIG Kids Shark Tank is philanthropy.  We want each child that participates to be given the opportunity to receive mentorship from business leaders as well as expose their business to the possibilities of funding.  We’ve heard some very exciting and enterprising pitches and are looking forward to helping the finalists achieve every success.   Every kid walked away with either mentorship, financing or both.” states Trust In Giving Founder Girvan “Fly” Henry.

Shark Barry Givens awarded siblings Greg Jackson (11-year-old) and Taleya Holbert (18-year-old) from Washington DC crowdsourcing services for their creation of the 3D Affirmation Nightlight, while the scientific tween and pre-tween founders of Atlanta’s Gooiii Kids received a monetary investment from shark Cliff Palmer.  Gooiii Kids founders are 10-year-old Aiyanah Glinton, 11-year-old Jolen Roya, and 6-year-old Destiny Answer.

Watching these kids pitch has been the highlight of my year.  I am looking forward to growing this initiative to give more children the opportunity to grow their businesses,” continues Trust In Giving Founder Girvan “Fly” Henry.
