TMZ reports that an investigation into the allegations has been launched by police. The alleged victim claims that on November 1, 2016, Short, bornTodd Shaw, sexually assaulted her at a Los Angeles home.
She has participated in various music projects and videos alongside the rapper. She says her provocative actions in the videos were not an invitation for sex because she’s a virgin.
The assault wasn’t reported to police until a month later.
Short denies the allegation. The 50-year old multi-platinum selling artist says the woman is trying to extort him after being dropped from his label.
Sources close to Short say the alleged victim made the story up following her release. Since then she has asked to get back on the label.
Police have not yet spoken with Short.
