Top 5 R. Kelly Songs

That evening made me not only go into my past; but it also reminded me of the brilliance of R. Kelly. Listening to his music, made me once again appreciate him exclusively as a genius. I not only wanted to acknowledge his talents but also celebrate it. In continuation of the difficult task that my friend and I had with selecting his best album. I took upon myself the impossible mission of selecting his best five songs.

Now I must admit that me saying that these are R. Kelly’s best five songs can be disputed by many. And the truth is, you won’t get any argument from me if you disagree with my list. He has so many hits, so many great songs, that you really can’t pick just five songs. So basically, these are my fave five R. Kelly songs. However, since I’m prepared to have another healthy debate; I’m still going to call this the Top Five R. Kelly songs:

5. Don’t Put Me Out

This is one song I don’t expect to be on anyone’s list. I was going to pick a more popular song like ‘Seems like you’re ready’ or the remix to Bump n Grind. But this is one of those low key songs that you find on one his albums and get addicted.

4. I Wish

Some people like upbeat/party Kelly songs. Some prefer the more sexual songs. Others love his spiritual/gospel music. I personally like all his styles, but I prefer the more soulful R. Kelly.  This song may get you a little emotional, but I feel like it is Kelly at his best.
