I love Embiid’s game. He is on my short list of players that I would start a franchise around. The one thing I don’t like is he sometimes disappear late in games. I think as he matures, he will learn more how to win games. Other than that I have no complaints.

I did not want to put Karl Anthony Towns on my list. Let me repeat that: I DID NOT WANT TO PUT KARL-ANTHONY-TOWNS ON MY LIST! I was this close to put the reigning Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobart in this slot. In a league where defense is overlooked like Tito Jackson; I thought Gobart would be a nice pick. Than at the last minute, I wonder would I pick Gobart over Towns. The short answer is no. The talent is still there with KAT, but he is soft.
I see why Butler was frustrated with him and Andrew Wiggins. He has the stats, but he doesn’t show up when it counts. There are times when his team doesn’t give him the ball, but he doesn’t demand it. Besides Gobart, I also considered putting Nikola Jokic at this slot. Jokic is probably the best passer out the bunch and he definitely has game. However I wimped out and put KAT in this slot instead. This is probably the only selection that I may end up regretting.
