Watch an Indians Fan Knock a Cubs Fan Out Cold After the World Series Game 7

According to Cleveland.com, Cleveland Police didn’t make many arrests or run into too many problems with fans leaving Progressive Field following Game 7 of the 2016 World Series on Wednesday night. Even though emotions were obviously running high in light of the Indians’ loss to the Cubs during the game, it sounds like most people were, for the most part, on their best behavior.

We say “most people” because, in the video above, you’ll see that there was at least one crazy altercation between a Cubs fan and an Indians fan following the game—and the Cubs fan appeared to get the worst of it. It’s unclear what led up to the fight as the video is only about 10 seconds long, but in the clip, you’ll see the two men square up and get ready to fight, and then you’ll see the Cleveland fan knock the Chicago fan out cold with a single punch. The video ends with a close-up of the Cubs fan laid out on the ground with his eyes closed.

Chris Vallimont, the Indians fan who took the video and posted it on Twitter, spoke with the Washington Post early Thursday morning and explained what happened:

“I heard these two people arguing…Naturally, I just looked over, and both men were getting very heated and started saying stuff they probably shouldn’t have. And then they both said, like, do you want to fight right now?”

Bad decision on the part of the Cubs fan. According to Vallimont, the paramedics had to come and revive him after the fight. His team may have won one of the biggest games in franchise history, but he definitely took a gigantic L.
