Lately, I have been having a friendly debate with family and friends about the movie The Black Panther. We have been going back and forth about where the instant classic film rank among other comic book movies. More specifically, how does it stand up to the previous gold standard for comic book movies: The Dark Knight? Sure, there have been other great superhero movies that are on the list, but I thought X-Men Apocalypse was dope. The movie that introduced The Black Panther character, Captain America: Civil War was good. You can also add a couple of Spider-Man movies to the list as well.
