So if the stage is set by God, what other authority should be addressed? Everyone in a household should know their place. “For the husband is the head of his wife, as Christ is the head of the church; and he is savior of the body” (Ephesians 5:23)
Now the woman’s job is to guide the house. “The age women likewise that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed” (Titus 2:3-5)
Now this is from God and is to be taken literally, he knows what’s best and how to run a family. Today’s society tells women that they have equal rights and that they can do any job that a man can do but God said “Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered” (Peter I 5:7)
