Now, I’m sure this doesn’t seem to be important, but in all actuality it is. Let me break it down for you…
Have you ever been in a relationship and thought you were happy? I mean everything could be going GREAT! You have no complaints about that person you’re with because they’re doing everything in their power to make this as successful as possible. That is until that one ex-mate pops up on your Twitter or Instagram timeline, just so happens to send that “Hey, how have you been” message on Facebook or hits you with that God-awful, “Just checking on you” text message. Yikes.
So, what do you do now? Do you respond or do you ignore? Do you entertain or extinguish? In most cases, the outreach of the ex didn’t come without warning. Unbeknownst to us, that seemingly harmless “LOL” response to a tweet or hitting of the like button on a simple Instagram picture can [kick] open doors of communication that we weren’t really prepared for.
