Instead, the Suns got the worst year of Beasley’s career.
The former No. 2 overall pick averaged career lows in nearly every major offensive category, shooting just 40.5 percent from the field and scoring only 10.1 points per game. Once considered an integral part of a rebuilding effort in Phoenix, Beasley’s minutes dwindled down the stretch and his expectation of becoming an All-Star did not come to fruition.
The Suns have not released a statement about the investigation at this time.
