On that day they found out that Jesus didn’t practice religion. He talked about them and called them out all the time. They were into their religious judgments and not the will of God.
“Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, saying, the scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: all therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.” (Mathew 23:1-4)
God gave those religious fools far warning also. They better learn to clean up their own house before worrying about someone else. Let those who practice religion meditate on that
“But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.” (Mathew 23:14)
How Religion Has Engulfed the Black Community
When you go through the black communities you can find two or three churches on every block. Now there is only “One Jesus” but many religious institutions. You got Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Apostolic, Lutheran, Episcopalian, and many other churches of religion. They try and put Jesus’ name in it to fool you, but it’s not his church. They don’t teach you anything about sin, holiness, or the law. They teach you about money and material gain. Jesus gave us a warning about this to make us spiritually aware of the religious deception.
“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” (Mathew 6:24)
In this case, mammon is money. Now brace yourselves knowledge is coming, pay attention to what Jesus said.
“And again, I say unto you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” (Mathew 19:24)
Preachers are getting rich off religion in today’s world. People are giving all their hard-earned money looking for Jesus, but are being prostituted by Satan’s whore churches and his ministers. It’s so lucrative in the ghetto that everybody claims to be preachers to gather wealth from biblical illiteracy.
“Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.” (Isaiah 56:11)
I mean religion is very lucrative and profitable in the hood. A billion-dollar industry that has made a mockery of the Gospel of Jesus. However, a day is coming when those people that are spreading deception will have to stand eyeball to eyeball in front of Jesus.
“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” (Revelation 20:12)
