I have to admit, that some brothers I know are not satisfied with that one out of ten. We want all ten women who we think look like tens! Sorry fellas, you can’t date each and every lady. I mean, you can try, but you know what they say, chasing more women, while messing up you’re for sure woman; will leave you no woman.
The same goes for women who want that man who they know has other women. Some of y’all are out here in a relationship with a single man and you know it. Better yet, you claiming something that doesn’t belong to you.
This might sound like an infomercial, but once you apply the Bear Grizzly Ten Percent Rule to your dating life, you will see immediate results. You will stop chasing those nine people that don’t want your ass! Those nine individuals already got someone. Those nine men and women who talk to you when they think it will be beneficial to them.
Now I know some people who just don’t want to “settle” for anything and won’t settle down just to say got somebody. That’s fine, and I definitely understand that. I’m not asking people to lower their standards just to be with somebody. This theory is based off that you are meeting and talking to people you are interested in.
What I’m suggesting is to be more realistic and have a different perspective on your quest to find true happiness. Obviously, this doesn’t apply to everyone, because by the grace of God, some of us have found the one for us. However, if you know someone who needs to hear this message, my advice is to let them hear it.
It’s time to tell your old ass friend to get out of the club with that tight outfit on, thinking she is about to find a “baller.” It’s over with Sis, take your behind home and call that dude back, who is willing to take you out, no strings attached and help you with your kids.
Don’t forget to pass it on to that brother who is trying to put some rims on that old truck thinking he is about to find some love in the club. It’s over bro, stay with the lady, who makes you feel like a “stud”, even though you know you putting out subpar performances in the bedroom.
I’m not trying to ridicule or make light of the situation (even though this article is funny to me). Nor am I writing this for any group in particular, so don’t take it personally. Although I’m using my observations and experiences to write this, it’s all entertainment. However, I will say there is some truth to what I’m saying, so the next time you are about to drop or dismiss your potential soul mate. Apply my Ten Percent Rule.
